Bal8tro is a retro-inspired card game experiment created for the Commodore 64, capturing the vibe of modern poker-based roguelike games — reimagined under authentic 8-bit constraints.

This project is not a port, remake, or official adaptation of any existing game.
Bal8tro is a from-scratch reinterpretation of a gameplay feeling: combo-building, escalating scores, and risky strategic decisions — translated into pure C64 code.

Why “Bal8tro”?

Think: modern card-roguelike vibes, imagined as if they had existed on a Commodore 64.
